Despite her 30 years, Heather Allen has never really grown up. This is reflected in her illustrations and her inability to cook anything except fish fingers and peas (although this last year she learnt to cook a mean chilli, allegedly).
Since completing her Children's Illustration degree, Heather was shortlisted for Best New Illustrator at the Early Years Awards 2005. Having set up GoAndEatWorms in 2008, she now creates bespoke illustrations for a range of clients, from picture books and educational illustration to trade book covers.
Heather also works as a graphic designer, with experience in creating book covers, educational books, art editing and corporate branding.
